Effective October 1, 2009 Medcore Health Plan is now SCAN Health Plan. There is nothing that Medcore members need to do to continue their coverage, and there will be no change in benefits in 2009. Since our founding 31 years ago by a group of concerned seniors, SCAN has worked hard to be true to our not-for-profit mission by providing affordable and accessible healthcare to people with Medicare, and by helping more than 110,000 members control how and where they live.
