SCAN Gold-Select is a Medicare Advantage special needs plan designed specifically for individuals with dual coverage from Medicare and Medi-Cal. SCAN Gold-Select offers all of the benefits provided by Original Medicare plus more, including the NEW Part D prescription drugs coverage.
You may join SCAN Gold-Select Medicare Advantage Health and Prescription Drug Plan if you are full dual benefit eligible with both Medicare and Medi-Cal. This special plan has a $24.80 premium, however since you qualify for low income subsidy because you have Medicare and full Medi-Cal benefits, Medicare will pay the monthly health plan premium of $24.80. SCAN Gold-Select also offers co-pays as little as $1.10 or $3.20 for prescription drugs. You also continue to pay the Medicare Part B premium of $96.40 each month.
You can visit any doctor in our network, choose among our network hospitals, including St.Joseph's, Dameron and Lodi Memorial, and take advantage of our mail-order prescription drug service for more convenience and additional savings on your prescriptions.

If you are a full dual eligible Medicare and Medi-Cal recipient you may join SCAN Gold-Select if you live in San Joaquin County.
